Been Feeling.... Very Pregnant!

Let me start off with a backstory.  When we moved (yes in MARCH)  I had the great idea that we would just throw all of the laundry in bags and I would just re-wash it all when we got to the new house.  It would just be easier that way.  WRONG!  Don't ever do that.  You don't realize how many clothes you have until you do that!    Well here we are in almost August and I've finally finished ALL of the laundry!  Okay, now you are all caught up for my new story.

Okay, so as I'm folding all the 'old laundry' I literally have to laugh out loud!  I never thought I was little before the pregnancy, but after seeing the clothes I USED to fit into, I think I was pretty little.  Maybe your perspective just changes a little when you have a rather large child in your belly.  Either way, I'm pretty sure my body will NEVER go back to 'normal' and fit in to those clothes again!  The youth garage sale at church will be receiving a pretty large contribution this week, courtesy of my closet.

So already feeling rather large while sadly looking at my 'small clothes' last night.  We get home from church this morning and I go to change clothes and my husband proceeds to ask, "Are you sure you aren't EIGHT MONTHS PREGNANT?"  After I explain to him exactly WHY i dislike him right now, he tries to make me feel better by telling me, "Well, I've never seen a naked pregnant woman before.  Brynnley just looks so big, (good alternative to ANY other way he could have said that!) I don't know!"  Well, if you don't know- you probably shouldn't say anything about how big I am!  Ha Ha

I love being pregnant and can NOT wait to meet Brynnley Mae!  But... I will not miss all of the aspects of pregnancy that nobody tells you about!  Like sneeing for example (yes sneeze-peeing- never fun!),  or how about feeling like you need to shower AT LEAST 3 times a day!  On the bright side, every since about 29 weeks or so, I've been experiencing a 'new normal'.  By that I suppose I mean I'm getting used to my preggo body and am not as uncomfortable as I was earlier on.  But I would not trade any of it for getting to feel our baby kick, or have the hiccups, or seeing my stomach do flips and being reminded of how cool God is and how blessed we are with our amazing little one!  I can't wait to meet her... sometimes Brent catches me just hanging out in her room just thinking about what it will be like to hold that little bundle of life in my arms and love on her!  Only 55 more days left!

Still trying to finish sanding the dresser (almost done and will NEVER do it again!).  The baby shower is next weekend, so I will have actual baby things to put in her room!  Then I promise I will post pictures :-)
